Welcome to A-Plus Electronic Waste Disposal. Our Mission: To do whatever necessary to keep E-Waste from getting  into Eastern Pennsylvania's and Lehigh Valley's landfills. and to reutilize integrated circuits form board level waste. A few years a go we had a gentleman ask if he could recycle a few monitors. When we explained there was a charge for this  service. He informed us that he was going to find somewhere to dump them instead of paying our fee. (5.00 per monitor) This took us completely by  surprise. All the talk the last few years about recycling and all the benefits and here was someone who hadn't  quite got the word. It had not occurred to us that people still didn't get recycling. When you're in this business long enough, you forget there are people out there who still just don't care. So, it was at that moment, I realized, that in order to keep as much E-waste out of land fills as I had planned, I was going to have to compensate for these people. So we contacted the local municipalities and explained that A-Plus was willing to recycle all their generated E-Waste for absolutely free. The enthusiasm for this idea was obviously overwhelming. It also brought out the skeptics. Whenever you offer something for free, people will always think there is a catch. The funny thing is there is no catch. You collect it, we recycled it. plain and simple. We sell obsolete and discontinuedelectronic integrated circuits. What better way to obtain them than through recycling. We started out 20 years ago selling hard to find and obsolete electronics to the miltary. We soon realized that this was a sloution for other companies and not just the DOD. Tons of these parts were being destroyed every day for the gold. IC's, Transistors, Semiconductors, Connectors, Relays etc.. were all being ground up, when all over the world people were looking for these parts. By recycling these parts and making them available once again for resale, we save companies millions of dollars a year in design changes. Toll Free 800-253-7029 05-09-09 Over 8 Tons of e-waste was collected at the Lower Macungie township building. This far surpasses last year. Thanks to the people at LMT, for helping get all this e-waste processed. Another Event is scheduled for Sept. It is our pleasure to assist local area schools with the proper disposal and recycling of electronic waste material. St. Catherine's school was allowed to collect a donation for every car that dropped off material.
